I made these korker bows for Miss Maddie when she was almost 2 (her second St. Pattie's) and I LOVE them. She always asks to wear them - so as I did last year as well, I will be brushing off the dust and she will sport them for the 3rd year in a row! A true "oldie but goodie"

As much as I love creating custom pieces, you really can't go wrong with the classics. My double tie bow is perfect for, really anything! I find myself going to it very often - on the way to ballet class, out to dinner or just a regular day at pre-school. Spring Inspiration 2011

Spring is just around the corner!! I am SO excited it's my favorite time of the year. This spring I am really drawn to light blues and spring greens, especially the gorgeous hydrangeas and I could just about die for those Christian Louboutins!!!! This color pallate will surely be in some of my spring accessories...

CUSTOM: Disney Pricess Bows

We just returned from a great trip to Disneyland, which I may say is so much fun with a 3 1/2 year old instead of our last trip when Miss Maddie was only 1 1/2!! It was adorable to see her getting ready, helping pack and watching her eyes light up when we got there. Before we left, she did ask for a "Special Princess" item to wear to the park, and since I didn't find any t-shirts that I loved and I typically do not buy "character" clothing (I know what a boring mommy) I thought how about some special princes bows - and she loved them!! We got lots of compliments and she felt very "princess-y"

Back in the Game

After a VERY long break, I have decided to bring Miss Maddie back to life - full speed ahead! I have new ideas, new designs and a new etsy shop!!! New Headbands

These headbands were a collaboration of a friend of mine Jessica and myself and they are so cute! They work really well for toddlers and up as they are one size fits all, and look amazing in photographs, including some of Jessica's (see some pics at http://www.jessicacolephotoblog.com/) They coordinate beautifully with any outfit, casual or dressy and are super affordable at only $12.00 each. New Product..."dude" onesies

After a ton of brainstorming and countless requests, I have finally created a cute - but not "too cutesy" onesie for baby boys. The "dude" onesie. I sold my first one today and look forward to making some more. One of my goals is to have a few products for baby and toddler boys by the end of this year..

New Website is up and Running!!

Finally our Miss Maddie website is up and running...not to mention working!!! I am busy and loving it. Miss Maddie Apparel

It took me a while to figure out if I wanted to start adding custom clothing to Miss Maddie, and I saw a little newborn at a craft fair in a navy blue tye dyed onesie and he looked so adorable I had to try it..it worked perfectly!! I love that each tye dye comes out different, and especially in this fuscia dye; I love it. Of course I needed to add a little bling, and I love it even more!!

New Bows...

I am constantly looking for new ideas and ways to enhance what I am already creating! I did have a request to post a picture of some larger width ribbon - this hot pink one isn't too big, it's about 1" and simple tied, but I love the white stitching and this ribbon comes in a TON of colors. I also found these great character buttons (shown with the butterfly version) and I think they are so cute. I can order them in any color or style - I am making some with a ladybug at the moment, but also come in sports (soccer ball, softball, football, etc.) cheer megaphones, Holiday themes (candy canes, reindeer, etc.), flowers - just about anything you can think of! I think it adds a little something extra...

Flower Power

I attached a couple pictures of the flower accessories I created. Please remember I make accessories - I am not a photographer!! But I will be having some professional shots taken ASAP for this blog and future website. These can be made in pretty much any color and size and headbands are one size fits all. Next to come...Hydrangea caps :)

New Products on the way!!

Here are a couple new bows I did this weekend, the green and gold bows are to match a school uniform, and the pink ones were designed for a young girl whose mother's request was "big and shades of pink"! I have been working on some new designs including those with silk flowers. I will be putting up some pictures ASAP of flowering headbands, flowering caps and a couple other surprises as well...stay tuned...
